Game Rules

15-minute game: Play for 15 minutes. Give a one-minute warning at the 14-minute mark.
When time expires: The team with more points wins—any score counts, e.g. 4–2.
Tied at time: If the score is tied when the 15 minutes expire, play one deciding point. The next point wins.
First serve: For a matchup listed as A–B, Team A is the home team and serves first at 0-0-2.

These are our league's house rules. A score shows as Final once the league director confirms it.

Privacy by design: The public schedule shows team labels, start times, and courts—not student names, parent names, rosters, or private team announcements.

Enter the final score after each game.

When time runs out, the team with more points wins (e.g. 4–2). A tie at time is broken by one deciding point, so every game has a winner. Forfeit: if a team can’t field a complete team, type F for the team that wins by forfeit and 0 for the team that forfeited (F–0 or 0–F); it counts as 11–0 in the standings. Parents and coaches can fix a score until the league director confirms it; after that only the director can change it.

Practice groups & coaches

Add each coach’s email to their practice group. When a coach signs in with that email, they see only the teams in their group and can enter scores for those teams’ games.

Players & families

Invite parents by sending a player’s invite link (or code). When the parent signs in or creates an account from that link, they’re linked to their child. You can also link a parent’s email directly.

Upload a roster file

For future seasons or changes: upload a CSV (Excel/Google Sheets → Save as CSV) with one row per player. Columns: Player, Team, and optionally Last Name, Practice Group, Coaches, Coach Email, Practice Time, Parent Email. Re-uploading is safe—players already on a team aren’t duplicated.

Roles & Access

League DirectorManages teams and coaches, invites families, confirms every score as final, and manages seasons, facilities, and schedules.

Parent / GuardianJoins with an invite link or code from the director (or the email the director linked), sees their child’s team under My Family, and enters scores for their child’s team’s games.

CoachSigns in with the email the director added to their practice group, sees only that group’s teams and rosters, and enters scores for those teams’ games.

Public VisitorView team labels, start times, courts, and season schedule only.

Security status: Sign-in, teams, rosters, family links, and scores are saved and enforced on the server. Parents and coaches can only enter scores for their own teams’ games, and a score is final only after the League Director confirms it. The setup tabs are visible to the director only and remain session-only prototypes.
